Have you ever had that itch in your hands to try digital scrapbooking? Have you ever wished you knew where to begin? Have you even opened a program like Photoshop elements but then just sat there, staring blankly at the screen? I know how you feel. I have felt the same way.

So in this class I will be taking your hand (via video) to show you step by step how to make a digital page. I will explain the magic of Photoshop Elements to you in it's simplest form. Once you are done with this class, you will not only have 3 very pretty pages, but you will be brave enough to venture in this digital world on your own. The class includes a custom designed digital kit so that you will have everything you need to complete the lessons!

Lesson 1: Starting from scratch.
In this lesson we will be learning the wonders of drag and drop in PSE (Photoshop Elements). I will teach you how to copy and paste from one file to another file. You will learn how to use layers (it will change your life forever!), how to use shadows to make your page look fake or real. I will also show you how to resize things and how to add text to a page. We will be making this page with papers and embellishments that I designed just for you!

Lesson 2: Templates & more
Templates in digital scrapbooking are one of the wonders of the world. It's like Jamie Oliver cooking for you but you can take all the credit. Seriously, it's that cool. Templates are so readily available in the digital world that to know how to use them will make you the Martha Stewart of the digi scrapbook world. In this lesson, I will show you how to mask layers as well as how to change opacities. In the end we will have a page like this one!

Lesson 3: Masks & Brushes
Have you ever seen a picture that looks like someone spend hours cutting out the edges into the most beautiful swirls and flourishes? Well, they didn't. And even better: I am going to teach you how to do it. Once you understand how masks work, a whole world will open up for you. And believe me, your friends will stand in awe. I will also teach you how to load brushes into PSE and on this page we will be painting... without getting our hands dirty. Like one of my blog readers said... now I can paint on my bed in my pj's without making a mess.
