How To Use A Digital Scrapbook Template

Directions

1. Download one of our free templates and open it up in your photo editing software. Click on the layer that says INSERT PHOTO HERE to highlight it.
2. Open the photo you want to use. You want to copy it and then click back to the template and paste it. It will paste it above the layer that says INSERT PHOTO HERE.
   
   TIP! Pressing CTRL A will select the photo, CTRL C will copy it and CTRL V will paste it.
3. Now use your move tool to position and size the photo over the black rectangle on the template. The move tool is circled in the screen shots below.
4. Click on the layer that shows the photo to highlight it. In your top toolbar, click on LAYERS > GROUP WITH PREVIOUS. This will group your photo with the black rectangle so that the rectangle is hidden and your photo takes on it's shape and size.
   
   Tip! You can click on CTRL G to group your layers as well.
5. Now click on the top layer. You can add any additional elements or text here.
6. Once you are happy with your final result, go to the top toolbar and click on LAYERS > FLATTEN IMAGE. This will compress your image so that you can save it. Now show off your cute new page!
