Pop Out Petals

Supplies

  • Patterned paper
  • Cardstock
  • Glue
  • Paint brush (or Qtip)

Directions

  1. Note: This class is a mini sample lesson of our self paced IN BLOOM class!

For a five petal flower cut five strips of cardstock measuring about ½ inch X 12 inches. You can cut your strip any length and width as you'd like depending on the size you'd like your flower to be. Just make sure that every strip is the same size.
  2. Make a fold about ½ an inch from the bottom on each strip and apply glue to the folded area and then fold around to form a petal.
  3. Glue the petals together to form flower.
  4. Apply glue all around the tops of petals. Attach to your pattern paper and let dry.
  5. Cut out flower and add a flower centre if desired.
  6. These flowers are so light that they are perfect for decorating your walls!

I stuck mine to the wall with some blue tack also known as "hold it".

These are adorable!! And what a great idea to stick them to the wall!! They will be on my list when I re-do my office!! So easy to change up, too!!
They would also be super cute as magnets!
